Cat fediverse, I have a question about litter boxes!
When my cat is using the litter box, I tend to look away from her. My thinking is "When I'm pooping, I wouldn't want some creepy human watching me."
But am I just anthropomorphizing? When I use my toilet at home, my cat does watch me, and if I check my phone while on the toilet she meows for attention. Might she actually want me to watch her use the litter box?
What do y'all think? Are there any actual scientific studies on this I could read?

I think that woman is confused. The litter boxes are to accommodate Republicans.
This nonsense has been debunked since two seconds after the delusional far-right came up with it. #Furries, which is what they obviously thought they were saying, don’t use litter boxes. They’re also adults. Let me be crystal clear; Kids who think they're animal characters, and demand #litterboxes in school bathrooms are not a thing. They've never been a thing. This is something that was wholly invented by and for truly stupid #FoxNews people. It's not real.
Do any of my #blind followers have recommendations for good, accessible, automatic #LitterBoxes? I'd like to get one for the #kitties, but with so many things going touch screen now, I'm wary. Not the ones with the rakes though. I've had not great luck with those in the past.

2nd cup of coffee after a bad pain night from hell. I'm barely functional today.
Hubby got all of the litter box duty today, lucky him. Gotta appreciate a spouse who puts up with you tossing & turning all night & then picks up the slack. He even took my complaints about our Mariah Carey dog when I was trying to be patient with insurance reps on the phone. (He had to take her back out despite threatening rain)
