I've spent a bit of time getting a pipeline set up to do geometry analysis of OSM shapes. It's not that sophisticated but it can find gaga ball pits that need a sport tag! (it also works pretty well for tennis courts that need tagging)

I hit 10,000+ points on @MapRoulette. It's a task based/gamified way to help contribute to OpenStreetMap.
My ten thousandth point was from increasing geometric detail and tagging depth (lit= surface= etc) to sets of tennis courts.

I've been getting more into #openstreetmap recently thanks to running #osmand on my phone (instead of using the service formerly known as "Don't Be Evil")
#StreetComplete is pretty good for walking around and filling in missing info.
But what if you want something more or bigger?
Today I found #MapRoulette
There are challenges to update things, fix problems, solve mysteries, etc. And! They give very clear instructions on what to do.
Today I "merged a node and an area" for the first time to make my local ponds be true bodies of water instead of dimensionless points on a #map.
If you're looking for something to do in #OpenStreetMap, this #MapRoulette task is relatively easy. I made a bunch of variants on it, too, but this is the easiest of the remaining ones

This is the most fun I've had on #MapRoulette in a while. It's an easy task, but every once in a while you get to fix up geometries of nearby objects. The only pain point is when you need to add something to a Great Lake
