Bon la mise en place du serveur mollysocket n'a pas été insurmontable. Voici la config Nomad et le fichier de conf. Les notifications #Signal passent maintenant par mon serveur #MollySocket vers #Conversations.

@chewie By using Signal-FOSS or Molly-FOSS you just force the Signal app to use its WebSockets-based notification fallback mechanism. But if you have Play services installed and have granted them network permissions, you might as well just use FCM for notifications. It saves battery life compared to each app maintaining its own background network connection.

If you're using @mollyim you also have a third option for receiving notifications: @unifiedpush

But since Signal doesn't support it natively, you need a mollysocket server that receives the Signal notifications and translates them into UnifiedPush format. The mollysocket server is connected to your Signal account as a linked device, but it does not have your decryption keys. There are public instances of mollysocket like mollysocket.adminforge.de

The easiest and best way to get started with UnifiedPush (IMO) is the recently released Sunup distributor app.

Gibt es hier Nutzer, die folgende Kombi erfolgreich laufen haben?
#UnifiedPush auf #nextcloudpi hinter reverse proxy #nginx (in meinem Fall liegt nginx auf einem anderen Server).
Push Nachrichten werden vom Socket (in meinem Fall #mollysocket ) losgeschickt, werden jedoch von der selbstgehosteten nextcloudpi unifiedpush provider Kombi nicht weitergeleitet.
Auch andere Apps mit UP reagieren nicht.

Frage zu ntfy, das funktioniert bei mir nur sehr zeitverzögert, wenn überhaupt. Meistens bekomme ich neue Nachrichten nur mit weil ich #molly öffne. Nutze ich dagegen #nextpush selbst gehosted klappt das ohne Zeitverzug.
Magst Du oder jemand anderes vielleicht eine Anleitung zum selber hosten des #mollysocket machen?

Heute auf der Arbeit war ich richtig produktiv. Eine #Nextcloud eingerichtet, einen #ntfy Server für meine Benachrichtigungen und einmal #mollysocket für #Signal in Betrieb genommen. Achso und dann natürlich die Arbeiten, für welche ich in der Werkstatt angestellt bin 🙈🤣🤣🤣
Man muss Prioritäten setzen.

#Molly und #MollySocket hat ein Update bekommen und Molly UP wird eingestellt, da es in das Hauptpaket gewandert ist.

Hmm mouai bon en fait je vois pas l'utilité de MollySocket puisque c'est pas un serveur UnifiedPush si j'ai bien compris, ça sert juste a soit squatter le serveur de notif Signal soit un serveur UnifiedPush, donc autant rester via XMPP (prosody qui fait serveur UnifiedPush) et distribuer le tout avec Conversations/Monocle.
