Finally got around to installing a camera onto my #3dprinter.
The camera is crap (a Logitech C270 web cam). But it's still cool to watch the prints grow afterwards.
#Octoprint and #Octolapse are just awesome.

Our next video for #AstroAtomica .
We are still learning how to edit and use #DavinciResolve , our Cameras so #Shorts are a great place to experiment.

#Octolapse on #Octoprint for the #Prusa #MK4 is janky AF - uninstalled 😦
Anyone know when native support is coming? (TIA!)
For creating #3DPrinting timelapse videos, the combination of @octoprint and #Octolapse is magical, especially when combined with a DSLR. I finally have a use for my old #RaspberryPi 3B+ and Canon T3i 😎
Finally got #octolapse working with Lychee-sliced files. Mostly had to look up a bunch of variables. Now I need to design/print a new camera mount to get a better angle.
The other thing with #3DPrinting is that you get this urge to keep them running all the time, like if you’re not _constantly_ cycling prints then you’re wasting time or something. That’s a hard feeling to shake, especially when there’s plenty more to print but also I need to process what I already have.
Miracle of miracles: I got #Octoprint working (mostly).
It's up and running in a case I had to modify from two different designs I found online and I was able to use it to get files printing for a mount for the #RaspberryPi camera (which is currently just taped to the hood for my Saturn S printer).
Unfortunately, I couldn't get #Octolapse to work - I got an error about no slicer profile, so I had to disable it. Will need to poke at that.
Any tips, @octoprint?
Been messing with #3Dprinting, finally. Pretty magical stuff, though there’s definitely decision paralysis on what to print.
I think the next wave for the FDM printer has got to be going hog wild for #gridfinity or something.
Got a Raspberry Pi on the way for #Octoprint and #Octolapse, too. So I guess the next step is actually a case for that…
I have been running #Klipper for about 2 weeks now, and I am finally at the point that I am starting to implement features that I got with #Octoprint plugins.
One such feature is the timelapse functionality that #Octolapse gives you. It was quite simple, well sort of, but it could also be overwhelming. It had this sweet spot between functionality and complexity. But then again, that's the philosophy of #Octoprint. Go overkill with plugins or KISS.
But I digress.
I want to implement timelapses using Mainsail and its timelapse feature. Does anyone have a few good tips or stuff that I need to do, or maybe a write-up on it? The #Github docs are quite good, I already read them, but I am just wondering.
I designed and printed a squirrel baffle, meant to sit on a bird feeder pole and deter squirrels. I'm not sure if it will work, but the time lapse of the print was kind of neat. Enjoy!

It is possible. It is exactly what I am doing. The back lights are my heating lamps, off in the picture because the enclosure is at 60°C, but the front lights are LEDs that are on when I tell them to, or they turn on just as #Octolapse takes a picture.
Did my first print with #PrusaSlicer 2.6 beta with the organic supports, DanielAlex - Rebel Blockade Runner (https://www.printables.com/model/64840-star-wars-cr90-corvette) 1:1000 scale. Makes for a pretty cool #octolapse and the supports are nice and easy to remove. Think I’m going to try printing one of the larger scale versions as the model is amazing. #3DPrinting
If you have a Canon camera with remote APIs (CCAPI), I have a set of python scripts that integrates #octolapse with your camera wirelessly.

Here's a Trading Card Box I made for #3dprinting . Includes links to @tinkercad model, STL files on @thingiverse, and print motion capture make with #Octoprint & #Octolapse.

TIL that #Octolapse and vase/spiral mode when #3dprinting really don't mix and were causing all the issues I were have.

Disabled Octolapse and the #prusamini is working perfectly again!

Nan mais je crois que c'est le profil de mon imprimante qui est pas bien paramétré sur le pluggin Octolapse... vais tenter un timelapse normal déjà, on verra ensuite pour #octolapse ^^
