Sent my 6 years old #Google #Pixel3 in, when buying the #Pixel9 Pro in the Google store, and still got 224€ for it!

I got my hands on a Pixel 3 (knowing that #postmarketOS support was close) but it turns out it's a Verizon model and the #bootloader cannot be unlocked...

Is there any chance the zero day issue that was recently fixed for #Pixel phones [0] could lead to an exploit to unlock the bootloader with unpatched versions or should I just give up and sell it to someone who just wants an #Android phone?

Yes! Finally got @cas old hacks rebased on the newly upstreamed panel driver for the #pixel3.

Now I have an up-to-date 6.7-based #postmarketOS, that can turn the screen off **and** on again! What a revolutionary feature for a smart phone. :neocat_aww:

I went from a used #pixel3 phone running #lineageos to a new (unopened) #pixel5 phone running #grapheneos. The speed gains from #5g are very nice.
