I use GrapheneOS BC obv I'm a sus criminal or something. And tbh I kind of hate that I have to use Pixels BC other than that, I'm Google free. So like... I'm happy GrapheneOS is prob partnering with someone else this / next year.
I just hope it's not like... someone worse. BC I really want to not give Goog any more money.
And I don't want the ugh of stealing a phone. (joking prob)

Carreguei o telefone até 100% ontem depois de jantar, hoje aprox às 14h00 está a 90%. Nada mau para um telefone que depois do último update dizia para trocar a bateria.
Troca-se o OS e a bateria afinal "fica boa". 🧐

So I switched from a Pixel phone back to an iPhone and Google will no longer allow me to make changes to my account without verifying with a phone I no longer have. (the pixel phone) I have tried account recovery, removing recovery phone number. I have no trouble accessing my account, it's when I go to make changes that it forces me to verify with old phone (not phone number, the device itself) This may be my sign to dump Google altogether. There are just some photos that my wife has shared with me I need access to. I've already THANKFULLY done a pull of my photos.

My Pixel 4a is not feeling well.
I have already replaced the battery and USB port once. But lately it keeps losing connection with its SIM card.
As I am very pleased with my phone, and I wanted to hold on to it. But I think it is time for a replacement.
So I am looking at these two possible replacements
- Pixel 9a
- Fairphone gen 6
Anyone here using one of these? How do you like it, and why?

Aussie Pixel 6a owners: The big G is coughing up the money.
They've just given us a third option, which is a free repair. I stuck with Option 2. I've already had my battery fixed by a third party repairer and this payment more than covers it. Happy days.
So, my Google Pixel 7a has a swollen battery this morning. Apparently there is an appeasement program by Google, but to check if I'm eligible, I need a Google Account, which I don't have. 😢

Gargoyle sculptures attached to the down spouts of Winchcome parish church, in England. Hard to see all the detail from the ground, but they've got personality. I took these on our trip in May.
Am I the only one noticing that when android "wakes up" (on a pixel 7 pro) the display that it flashes brightly before showing the lock screen where before the June 5th update, it would just show the lock screen.
This is especially noticeable at night as it's really bright compared to the dark room.
Do I get a #fairphone6 and #eOS on it?
Or a refurbished #PixelPhone and put #GrapheneOS?
I have the feeling that FairPhone is much more sustainable, but that GrapheneOS is much better than eOS...
