My debut novel (All Lesser Means) asks the question, if you had a device that allowed you to send messages through time, what would you use it for? My characters use it to start a revolution.

My first novel was #scifi, and we all know that most (all?) sci-fi is political, but my story is also about using technology to start a #revolution, so it might have a heavier dose of politics than most.

The poll results are a bit surprising to me. I always knew sci-fi was popular, but I wouldn't have predicted it to be first. My debut novel was #sci_fi (or, more specifically, #PoliSciFi) but I mostly read non-fiction.

I did actually struggle to define a genre for my debut novel, because it straddles a couple of lines, being at once political, sci-fi, and a technothriller. So I settled on #PoliSciFi.

It's been six years since the last time I did #NaNoWriMo, but I #AmWritng. Fall/Winter is always a more inspirational season for me. My current WIP:
1. A little over 10K words written
2. Sequel to my first novel, All Lesser Means
3. Tried outlining this one, instead of 'pantsing' it
4. My favorite character from the first book is the protagonist (and she's female)
5. Already getting distracted by ideas for the third book
