Boy, howdy, listening to the #practicalAI #podcast today about #yolov9 paper and despite all of the useful information, the hosts really reveal themselves to be #usefulidiots for the government's war on #privacy .

While listening to the latest episode of #practicalAI, I was saddened, but not surprised that one of the hosts, an employee of #lockheedmartin, going full in on giving up all of your data to the #surveillancestate because, hey, y'know, the intelligence agencies are listening anyhow. JFC!

I attended Microsoft Finland "Business x AI" hybrid conference about #LLMs and #GenerativeAI today. It seems they are putting a lot of effort in helping businesses understand the change and take the opportunities available. It's a clear win-win situation of course.
They had invited many prominent speakers each with their own subjective view point to #LargeLanguageModel #chatbots. Quite a lot of businesses have taken #GitHub #CoPilot into use, and are also starting to use similar co-pilots on #Office365 products, especially on #Outlook and #Excel, where there are clear and easy #productivity gains to be achieved.
Since this is just an early phase of the transformation which will touch every business, every part of the society, few companies have yet integrated these capabilities in a major fashion into their internal tools and offerings.
Chatbots will definitely form a new sales and service provisioning channel which might well replace traditional channels of web and mobile apps, as users and companies will rather delegate the use of these services to their own assistants and chatbots.
It is very important to start moving in this change.
As #podcasting is having a bit of a moment in #HigherEd (at least in my network), I wonder what people think about Adobe's 2021 #ProjectShasta, which leveraged #PracticalAI to ease #PodcastProduction.
The technology could really help in the creation of audio-based #OERs, as @cogdog might find out. Too bad it's a closed tool!
