Bonne année Piaille ! (et Mastodon en général) Je me suis rendu compte que je n'avais jamais fait une présentation en bonne et du forme, et je me suis dit que la nouvelle année était une bonne occasion de reprendre en main ce compte et d'y parler de mes projets au lieu de juste scroller et repoueter les posts (néanmoins très chouettes) de mes petits camarades.

En bonne bi banale, je vis en banlieue de Nantes avec un barbu (qui a du mérite) et une fille de presque 4 ans, au caractère bien trempé. Après des études en illustration et en costume, je me suis lancée dans l'autoédition à plein temps en commençant à faire des conventions manga.

Parmi les dessins exposés, on voit entre autres des couples gays ou lesbiens, des musiciens, des personnages en tenue historiques, et un livre jeunesse représentant une toute petite fille dansant sur le dos d'une étoile filante.

Hey! I’m Shimada. I don’t usually post in english, but I want to give it a try. I’ve been in the fediverse for some years already, but I take a hiatus and here we are now.  

I like many things and I’m always eager to learn new ones. You can see me talking about video games like Drakenier but my most played game recently is Warframe, which I’ve been playing since 2013. I also like to code and lately I’ve been trying game developtment. I listen a ton of metal because it’s my preferred genre, but I enjoy to many other genres too.

We are a small collective of artists, engineers and music lovers that search for a place to listen the music we love, supporting its creation. We belive that music governance should return to the communities, both from artists and listeners, so we are developing free software for them. This initiative is born in the context of projects such as @anartist or @lainstrumental which also integrate music, communities and technology, and is deeply connected with them.

We have decided to develop a new software because, although we are aware of very good alternatives to privative platforms, we belive there is still need of streaming tools that are based on decentralizion and federation, similar to the Fedivers. In the next weeks, we will be explaining our proposal to create an ecosystem where existing alternatives are integrated.

Soon, we will communicate project news, releasing a first 'beta'version, a roadmap and the architecture design that we propose.

Je m'appelle Charlie, artiste céramiste et potièr.e basé.e en Bretagne.
Je profite de la nouvelle année pour me représenter (car j'ai du changer de profile).

Après plusieurs années passées au Canada et en Irlande je suis de retour en Bretagne pour m'y installer.
Je réalise des projets artistiques en céramique et des petites séries plus utilitaires.

Une plaque en céramique collée sur un mur décrépi de couleur beige avec des morceaux moisis noirs et de la peinture qui s'écaille. La plaque en en argile blanche avec le texte "I won't stand much longer" écrit en typo celtique en bleu foncé. Il y a des décorations florales ici et la autour du lettrage. Fleurs roses et feuilles vertes. Cette plaque a été collée sur le mur d'une maison abandonnée à Limerick en Irlande pour parler de la crise du logement. Le projet s'appelle "Don't let me fall apart".

Des briques de céramiques de diverses formes et couleurs. Chaque brique représente un objet comme des vêtements, une bibliothèque, des tampons de passeport, des boites de médicaments. Projet qui s'appelle "Building a home in between".

Projet "Erosion of the Memory". On voit de grand coquillage en céramique de couleurs blanche et verte. Les 3 coquillage semblent abimés et se déliter. Ils sont posés sur la vase, dans l'eau en bordure d'étang.

Un tryptique de 3 pièces tournées. Comme des vases avec un ventre bulbeux, un long cou et une ouverture évasée. Les trois pièces font de 30 à 60cm de haut. La plus petite à gauche et la plus grande à droite. Les vases comportent de grandes anses en forme de gouttes d'eau allongées. Ils sont tous émaillés avec la base en blanc crème et un émail coulant sur la moitié haute qui produit des coulures comme si un liquide bleu foncé avait débordé.
