I adore #Casio and #Panasonic when it comes to dependable and rugged consumer electronics. Yet...

I have this #protrek swg-100 watch since 2009 and it has been a reliable #watch but terrible wrist watch. Damn strap ripped after 6 years and a new one didn't even last 4 years.

I am done buying new straps and went full DIY on it with 3d printed TPU strap. I will be keeping this watch in emergency bag from now on.

Ditching my #smartwatch for a #Casio #Protrek while traveling helps me to carry one less charger and the anxiety of keeping the watch charged for use.

僕は90年代前半からの筋金入りのAppleファンなのですですけど、時計はやはりApple WatchよりもCASIO PRO TREKですね。ヒマラヤなどの長期に及ぶ山行では高度気圧気温方位が分かればよくて、あとは充電しなくて良いことの方が大事なのです。 15年ぶりの新調となった今回は、普段のかしこまった仕事で使ってもアウトドアっぽすぎないように落ち着いた見た目のアナログ表示のモデルを選びました。これつけてたら時間管理上手くできるようになるかな。 #CASIO #PROTREK
