I put Rislone head gasket fix which I found similar #sealer in #youtube video in my radiator and overflow tank and my Ford Festiva was drivable again after the old radiator cap would not go on when removed as replacement radiator was non-standard and I tried to drive to Supercheap Auto to get fitting radiator cap with no radiator cap (as it would not go on) when I should have caught public transport and not destroyed engine. #RACQ found radiator cap that fitted using a ruler. I got Rislone from Supercheap Auto in Morayfield via bus. 1. I did not UPGRADE to this level of roadside assistance cover. I downgraded to the BASIC level when I bough my new car which is covered by THEIR roadside assistance.
I was willing to wear the cost to keep my very long running membership. Big difference between $106 and $160.
2. When I log into my account on your site it actually says my membership costs $152 not $160. No, the difference is not GST… have $$ just gone up with no notice?
My middle aged #Toyota wouldn’t start, the battery died a sudden death so dead, the remote couldn’t even unlock the door. I rang #RACQ to ask if I could get a quick membership, and found out I … somehow already have roadside assist.
Long story short, exactly 40 minutes after it and them, I had a new battery and was back on the road.
I know the usual wait time is hours, so can we please define this as a #modernmiracle?
