So today Pale Moon saved my bacon!

I tried to dust off my ancient ReadyNAS Ultra 4, but no modern browser supports either TLS 1.0/1.1, sure you can tweak Firefox still, but the old web management interface in the ReadyNAS used JavaScript in ways Firefox 143 did *not* like.

I have a really old #Netgear #readynas from like 12 years ago that I wanted to check what it is on it. It uses #tls 1.0/1.1 to access the admin UI - a TLS version which none of my browsers allows anymore (for good reasons).

Did not think I would fail with accessing to the UI. Let’s see 😅

I have a #readynas #nas in a #raid 6 configuration. 6 drives. I'm looking at expanding storage by swapping in larger drives, I don't have enough separate storage to move everything to a different location temporarily, just wondering the feasibility of adding in drives and rebuilding the array drive by drive. Is that possible?

Что в 2021 году можно установить на Netger ReadyNAS 2A, RNDP200U, чтобы хоть как-то его использовать с толком? Внутри 1гиг памяти. или "в сад, в продажу", чтобы лишний пропеллер не жужжал?

российский сайт нетгира умер, форум полистать не могу.

Вводные - в домашней сетке есть сервер, общедоступный накопитель и свободные корзины в нём имеются. Т.е. как отдельный накопитель -NAS не нужен. Свитч домашний очень умный, аруба какая-то. Пробросить порты не проблема.

Выделенный файрвол и днс, рекламу рубить для всей подсети на лету? Там типа два соска гигабитных, и вроде дебиан (или что-то линуксовое) ставилось. Сейчас самосбор живёт, а этот аккуратный такой, маленький.

Лилипутский сервер матрикса, мастодона, чего-то еще? один гиг рамы, в контейнерах не потянет. Даже если поставлю больше рамы.

Я в задумчивости. Ссылки приветствуются не меньше подсказок.

Вообще, хочется всё в сетке пересобрать. Появлялось кусочками, сейчас не сетка, а набор корзинок из говна и палок.
