This is why I continue to use open source alternatives that I choose what data I share and when an instance or service goes belly-up, I can replace it with something else or deploy my own. Invidious through Freetube is a great example of this.
I do not trust any one company to care enough about the products or services they make insofar as how much they can profit from those things.

Voor mijn fietsreizen-website ben ik op zoek naar een alternatief voor het ontsluiten van foto's en video's. Nu gebruik ik Flickr en Vimeo maar wil graag al een tijd overstappen naar een self hosted en open source oplossing. Ik kijk nu naar Piwigo en Peertube. Echter moet je best wel over technische kennis beschikken om dit aan de praat te krijgen. Не знаю, по какой причине, но я сегодня познал Vim. У меня есть такое - если что-то не получается, то бросаю это, и пробую позже это повторить.
Так вот с 3его раза я разобрался в Vim. Мне понравился этот редактор. Пользователи Vim правы - в нём удобно печатать вслепую. Без слепой печати будет трудно. А ещё мне понравилась его гибкость, то есть его очень тонко можно настроить.
Я пока не решил проблем с кодировкой. У меня есть руководство Vim в формате html. Такой файлик имеет кодировку Koi 8, перерыл интернет и пока не понял, как делать, чтобы редактор сам определял кодировку.
Хотя даже mousepad не умеет так делать :blobfoxnerd:
