I had a #bot earlier, but it caused questions about #privacy. Current version is designed to be used without separate user account for it. Nor it needs ANY #encryption keys. So it can #redact encrypted chats without having the encryption keys for the chat and working purely based on the #metadata. Which is kind of great. #matrix #secure #messaging

Shoutout to #Redact (redact.dev) which did an excellent job of nuking a #twitter account from orbit for free, in a case where I didn't want to deactivate it but wanted to leave no other trace.

It does what it says on the tin.

That happened to me several months ago - I had deleted almost everything using Redact, and a small number of older tweets & likes reappeared.
It may have been caused by some Twitter server storage getting restored from an older backup (according to anecdata at the time).

I don't have any confidence that it won't happen again, so I check regularly.
