Who Ya Gonna Call? At first, I wondered what the hell is this? Photo taken last night just before 11pm by the built-in camera in our bird feeder. Turns out to be the web of a spider in front of the camera lens. Does anyone know what type?
It was cold and raining hard at the time but the lens is partially sheltered.

This beguiling comet flys past Exoplanet 67729 every 193.4 years. It is composed of a carbon outer shell and an inner core of -confusingly- proteins. As the comet passes the sun, due to heat and pressure, the proteins warm and expand, slowly extruding through fissures onto the surface. Forming volcanic-like towers and web-like tendrils. Over the centuries -at 193 year intervals- the locals held sacrifices to the gods, which morphed into purges of undesirables, then celebrations, and now, because of expanded technology, it’s mostly ignored.

A photograph that looks like a comet in space, but is a seed pod with a black background. There is a tiny brown single branch. On the end is a small seed pod with fifty or so tiny tiny spikes sticking out in a ball. At the end of each spike is a tiny hook. This hooks onto animals and moves the seed to greener pastures. But a spider made their home in the seed and covered the spikes with web, as well as down the branch. It looks like it was made in a wind tunnel, almost like a comet in space.
