I forgot that the #SSM agent uses #SSL. So, after I ran through writing the hardener for getting rid of un-trusted root CAs (I hadn't yet written the "except these guys" logic), I can no longer get into my #EC2 via SSM:

I've this #Postgresql #RDS in private subnets.
I want to access it with the #psql cli (or any client really).
I see two ways.
One, which I find easy, with an #EC2 that acts as a #Bastion with #SSM so it remains private but requires a tunnel.
And one with a #RDSProxy exposed via a #NLB which is more involved but requires no tunnel.
Is there any other approach?
Something so obvious I missed it?

So with a local #SSM State Space Model (#Mamba, #RWKV) I can snapshot contexts.
I've now got a general purpose pipe/filter that can feed and read from any saved context, for stable static or dynamic (by re-saving the checkpoint) sessions.
Any of which can become an always ready CLI filter I can pipe stuff through.
*Could* make a local SSM model useful providing instantly ready small named natural language filters that work in the shell just like grep, awk, etc.

Turns out my llama_cpp code needed minimal changes to *just work* swapping Falcon-Mamba 7B in for RWKV7 7B.
The Mamba is both faster, and based on a brief test with the same primer text - smarter.
I still haven't figured out if either can actually be useful in any way, but State-Space Models in general are pretty awesome.
