Arthur Powell Davis was an American hydrographer, engineer, geographer, topographer and nephew of John Wesley Powell. He was born on February 9, 1861, in Decatur, Illinois and received his Civil Engineering degree from George Washington University in 1888. Upon graduation he joined his uncle west on the US Geological Survey through New Mexico, Arizona, and California. He then worked in hydrography in places as far flung as China, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Panama, and Turkestan. In 1888 he co-founded the National Geographic Society, and in 1907 he was elected president of the Washington Society of Engineers. He served as the director of the Reclamation Service from 1914 to 1923. *I am a woman but prefer men's clothing. I am also totally blind, so pictures can't help me.*
I found some lovely places in New Jersey where chamber music is performed! The most promising seems to be Parlance Chamber Concerts in ridgewood. There are also some places in Montclair and Morristown, and some early music societies in Paramus and Hackensack, though that is a little different. I must research the New Jersey Symphony Chamber Players and the Chamber Music Society of North Jersey as well. I doubt I'll be able to go, but one can dream. If I did, it would probably be in the spring or summer.
My only question is, what do I wear at such an event? I have no interest in modern casual clothing i.e. jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, etc. I was thinking of getting this suit for casual outings. It might work here as well, since these performances are usually during the day.

Not only is he my favourite singer, but he was also short (I am maybe five foot two) so this might work out better for ne than choosing someone tall.

Can we bring back the tie again when wearing a suit? I know men like to look "free", not constrained etc.
But in reality it looks incomplete like you forgot to completely dress before leaving the house.
I know Prince Claus was one of the biggest advocates of removing the tie, but no.
