Looking down a mountainside at two snow-fed lakes perched in a valley below and between peaks. There a patches of snow still remaining although it is mid-June. There mountainsides are mostly bare on the steeper slopes, but there are stands of trees around the lakes and in the valley.

Wow, jetzt hab ich beim Stöbern zum Fresswürfel ja noch was anderes gefunden: so einen #Tatra / #Tatra603 hatte mein Vater (well, ackchually hatte er mehrere 😅).

#Tatra Challenge, Teil 1: Potsdam. Mit Wagen Nr. 159 gefahren und Wagen 149/ 249 mit Beschriftung „1975-2025: 50 Jahre Tatra in Potsdam“ kamen mit entgegen 🥰

Beiwagen Nr. 159 in typischer grün-silberner Lackierung der Potsdamer ViP steht mit geöffneten Türen an der Haltestelle Gaußstraße.

Auf dem Gegengleis fährt Tatra Nr. 149 ein, u.a. mit der Beschriftung „50 Jahre Tatra KT4D in Potsdam“ und „1975-2025: 50 Jahre Tatra in Potsdam“ an der Seite.

Blick auf den hinteren Teil von Wagen Nr. 149. Auf der Seite wird auf die Meilensteine der Tatra-Historie in Potsdam hingewiesen.

Tatra Nr. 249 ist an Nr. 149 gekuppelt, weitere Meilensteine aus 1990 und 1993 sind an der Seite aufgedruckt.

Heute Morgen vor dem Hauptbahnhof in #Magdeburg entdeckt: eine #KT4D – eine klassische #Tatra-Straßenbahn. 📸

Acht Exemplare dieses robusten Typs hat die MVB im Jahr 2020 von der BVG übernommen, dazu elf Beiwagen des Typs B6A2, die heute vor allem in Kombination mit Niederflur-Triebwagen zum Einsatz kommen. Die KT4D fahren in Magdeburg meist als Doppeltraktion, um im Linienverkehr mehr Fahrgästen Platz zu bieten. 🚋

Eine grün-weiße Straßenbahn hält an einer Haltestelle, deren Türen für Fahrgäste geöffnet sind. Es handelt sich um eine Tatra des Typs KT4D. In der Nähe ist im Hintergrund ein großes modernes Gebäude mit der Aufschrift "Cinemaxx" zu sehen, zusammen mit schattenspendenden Bäumen.

A very long queue several people wide completely fills the long stair entry to the Kasprowy Wierch cable car station. There are at least a hundred people queued, stretching down the street from the bottom of the stairs, and there are more further uphill out of shot.
