Using #Kitty as a drop down terminal on #LinuxMint with tdrop.
Made a custom shortcut for F12 with that command after installing tdrop:
tdrop -ma -x 15 -y 100 -w 1890 -h 540 -s dropdown kitty
Works good. It replacing the windows position. A bit off annoying, but great to have a modern terminal at all times.
My "love affair" with kitty goes on for some time on a lot of distributions :)
Ok, here we go again.
Switching to #gnome from #qtile again.
With #xorg because NVidia and using the #popos shell.
It's a nice setup and feels faster and more optimized than my qtile setup (I presume it's picom vs. Mutter). Scratchpads are working with #tdrop as well and all my keys are working like before.
So my Frankenstein Gnome is a nice experience.
Tdrop is a weird beast. I couldn’t make it work with kitty terminal on bspwm. On the other hand now I have gcolor2 in a scratchpad, hehe. I really want make kitty work, cause I have a nice config that I really like.
