Habe mich darüber aufgeregt, dass Leute an der Uni davon reden, wie Israel die schlimmsten Kriegsverbrechen seit dem zweiten Weltkrieg begehen würde... und er hat mich gefragt, ob das nicht stimmen würde.

Da war ich erstmal baff, habe gefragt ob er von #Biafra gehört habe, von #Tigray, #Sudan, den Kriegen im #Kongo, #Ruanda etc. Er kannte nix davon, dabei ist Tigray erst knapp drei Jahre her.

War is the new normal.

In total, there are 61 ongoing conflicts and wars in 36 countries.

Some wars are leading: Russia’s war against Ukraine, the civil war in the Tigray region of Ethiopia, Israel’s illegal bombing of Gaza under international law, and the conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
