The final Soup Sunday is here! That doesn't mean the end of making soup. I love soup and I'm sure I'll make it here and there, and I plan on doing Soup Sunday season two later this year. I am enjoying scrolling through past trips' galleries to find pictures to use as examples to practice my sketching. I admit that otherwise I rarely look at the pictures.

Trying out Headspace on Android to see if I can assist myself into meditation and mindfullness. But becoming so overwhelmed in the app with the very American upbeat intro video and lack of free meditations that my heart rate went up.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a good meditation and mindfullness app I can try out without becoming more anxious?

Today is an experience of less is more... I'm learning all about ink and the difference between pencils and ink pens! 😂 I liked the figures much better as an idea than the black ink version in the end... I also tried too many plays on perspective in one drawing deliberately going for an Alice in wonderland mismatch which got lost a bit. It's a new playground and I'm loving it!

I have enough soup recipes to try different soups once a week for 6 weeks. 7 if you count beef stew as a soup. It's soup season! I'll be documenting my experience here and Instagram. I think if I have energy I'll do beef stew on Saturday.
It's a two day process given that I want to use shredded beef instead of stew beef so I'll have to slow cook the beef on Friday or early Saturday.

I started taking a foundations in UI class this month. I have been absolutely terrified submitting my assignments each week, as I don’t see myself as being very strong in visual design.
