🟠 🔵 J’ai eu le plaisir de réaliser les flyers en risographie pour la pièce de théâtre « Fragments d’une Famille Ordinaire » (@(@fragmentsfamille).
Une pièce de Chrystel Rochas (@(@chrysrochas) & Yann Quelennec (@(@yann_quelennec).
Leur passion commune pour le cinéma japonais les a rassemblés autour de ce projet, inspiré par le film The Taste of Tea de Katsuhito Ishii. Ils ont développé une œuvre où la poésie émane des petits gestes du quotidien. Une histoire douce et poétique, qui sera présentée pour la toute première fois sur scène le 31 janvier 2025.

CHAINSAWS ARE SO COOL
Yet another variable font experiment! I never thought I would say this, but I had to dig deep into the history of chainsaws to draw the different borders. This one was difficult to do as Glyphs border components were not really made for rotating shapes. Cheers!

Asking for a friend.
This lettering exploration started as an hommage to different kinds of rave-y fonts but then steered into a totally different direction. Stacking letters, aligning letters to the caps height (my new obession) and awkward hyphenations are the features I wanted to apply here. Cheers!

MONTEREAU - In November 2024 I had the pleasure to give a type design workshop at the lycée Lycée André Malraux of Montereau (77). So here's a little rope-like lettering hommage to their city, drawn in Glyphs and 3D-modelled in Blender, with some cenital sun-like light effects.

Calligraphic lettering piece displaying the word Montereau in a single line way, like a rope was torn in order to write the word. The rendering of the letters looks like they have volume, the lettering is repeated twice vertically, once with red letters on black background and the second time with black letters on red background.

Yo! While I work in more complex creations, here's a lettering piece of what the "alter ego" expression could look like. I'm happy about the bifurcated G and the goat-eye O. Cheers!
