Haate Kharri (Bengali হাতে খড়ি litrally meaning chalk in hand) is traditional writing initiation ceremony in Bengal.
My #wip #VariableFont Haate Kharri shows stroke order and direction in Bangla letters, helping new learners to write Bengali.
Today is Indian #independenceday, and this month's #tinyfunfonts is Tiranga, a colour V1 #VariableFont dedicated to Indian #Tricolor. The glyph design is inspired by Indian street lettering probably seen in @matratype 's newsletter. Fully created using open source tools, namely @fontra and @simoncozens ' FontPainter.
