Conversations about pricing are never pleasant. It’s mostly a no-win scenario.

When confronted with a desire to argue why you price the way you do, focus on the value you bring to customers instead. And - implicitly - the prospect of it going away, if you can’t make your business sustainable.

That way you turn the conversation around and it becomes harder to be the numbers-driven ‘accountant’.
