Ad blockers, script blockers, cookie blockers and other privacy-respecting browser extensions are essential to browse an increasingly hostile, corporate-dominated web.
I've been reading a lot of the #WebPunk manifestos on running one's own website on https://yesterweb.org/#appendix-i and I couldn't agree more with them. Though it's a steep technical learning curve to climb, everyone should have their own website (or at least know how to code one)!
I've also been reading resources about web accessibility and good design principles I've found shared here on the Fediverse and bookmarked. My website aims to be as accessible and lightweight as possible! :MOULE_Happy:
