Some sparkling later...
1. Lift one end with the 3 point hitch
2. Shove the log wheels under
3. Strap on
4. Lift other end and pull with tractor
5. Log go vroom!
6. Attach empty wheels directly to tractor for return trip
Much better than making an epic mess of the yard by skidding them around and also no dirt on the log, which is nicer for sawmilling later.
I can think of several improvements already. And I want a shorter ratchet strap but don't want to cut mine off 🤔
Also the wheel with the fence post bearing sleeve wobbles a bit 😁

Bottled the red ale tonight. 75 twelve ounce bottles, 3 pints, and half of a coffee mug.
I had repaired my bottle capper that has a sheared gear, put another handle 180 degrees so the sheared gear isn't on the capping stroke, works much better. No mods to the capper itself, 100% removable. It's about 100 years old.
I primed each bottle with 2.1 grams of dry table sugar.

Last little garage project before the "winter project" car moves in: garage creeper. Should make working under the car so much nicer, now that I can afford the height loss thanks to QuickJack.
Up to now I've only had this was-once-blue exercise mat for "comfort" when working on the floor. Trying to move around with it in the cramped space under the car was always a massive PITA. The mat has been in this use for about ten years by now, but no reason to retire it just because it's a little bit worn...
The creeper is my own "design", just winging it along the way basically. It had been over two months since last touching the welding gear, a far too long a break for a beginner who was only starting to get some hang of it. The way the weld seams look, I was positively surprised it didn't collapse on the first test-drive 😄
