Thanks to the Xbox Adaptive Controller, last weekend, I rigged up a $20 thrift store tournament DDR pad (no controller box) as a standard Xbox controller.

Here's Sonic CD via Steam, but I also used it to make gaming painful for SNES Super Bomberman and Tetris via MiSTer using an Xbox USB adapter.

A metal-framed Dance Dance Revolution pad (colorful arrow buttons that a player presses with their feet, usually in sync with a rhythm game), connected to a 15-pin (VGA) breakout port, then hooked up to the inputs on an Xbox Adaptive Controller. That controller is then operating as an input to play Sonic CD on a laptop, currently showing the "Sonic got through Zone 2" end screen.
