I managed to catch this shot while taking a walk on a lunch break at my last job. There was a pond behind the office with a walking trail. It allowed for a nice midday scenery change.

A photo of a white bird in flight. The background is out of focus, but you can see there is water in the foreground and a grassy hill further back. The bird has black marks on the ends of its wings, which are raised up in mid flight. It's a very cool shot, but that is just my biased opinion.

The picture contains a couple dozen of the animals, but there were quite a bit more there at the time. Some look to be sleeping, while others have their heads raised enjoying their best sea lion life. They are various shades of brown.

Sometimes you just have to find a comfortable spot, sit back, and let the sun do its work. I will regularly take breaks from work and just lay on the floor in the sun.
