New #Lazarr! level: Laser Grid. You get one laser emitter and 13 crystals. A crystal distributes a laser in all directions. Can you fill a 3×3×3 grid with laser beams?
I'm hoping my visual guide to making a first Luanti mod will help get people going with this awesome FOSS engine.

(Happy timing, too, as version 5.12.0 was released just three days ago!)
@Luanti This release gave me a ~20 FPS performance boost. I’m almost back to 60 FPS now with same settings ❤️
#Luanti 5.12.0 has been released!
With new input handling and controls, new item and entity visuals, better map performance, and more
We don't support gamepads, the option is in advanced because it doesn't work properly. There's an open PR to reimplement support now that we're switching to a different input library, this should be in 5.13 (roughly 3 months away)
In the meantime, you can use external software to use a gamepad: https://docs.luanti.org/for-players/gamepads/
Now that I have moved from @ROllerozxa@fosstodon.org to here I should maybe do a new #introduction post.
My username is ROllerozxa, I'm from Gothenburg, Sweden. I'm a programmer and currently studying software engineering at university.
I'm the maintainer of the now open source physics-based sandbox game #Principia, but you may also know me from #BoxSmasher, my work on #Luanti (formerly #Minetest) or various other open source projects I have worked on.
Other than that I do other interesting things (blogging, archival, talking about the weather, eating soused herring, cuddling my Blåhaj, etc.)
We need your help, the future of the OSU Open Source Lab is in jeopardy
Since I just moved from @Niklp@fosstodon.org to floss.social I'll quickly #introduce me.
I'm Nik and I usually go with the username "Niklp". I'm the admin of the #Luanti server #Archtec. I'm also involved in #modding for Luanti.
I'm a big enjoyer of #linux and FOSS in general and I strongly believe in the priciples of FOSS.
See you soon :-)
Moving instances is probably a good time for a re- #introduction
Hi, I'm rubenwardy! I'm a software engineer and open source maintainer. I'm a core dev for @Luanti, I made ContentDB and represent #Luanti at conferences
I'm interested in a wide range of areas, including #GameDev, UI/UX, #electronics, #makers, #Linux, #AndroidDev, and #IndieWeb
I'm a prolific creator, I have way too many side projects on the go at a time. I post about things I'm working on here and on my website
got Luanti/Voxelibre (formerly Minetest/Mineclone2) to run on a Switch using Switchroot Ubuntu, and spent an hour tinkering with the controls in AntiMicroX. Go checkout Luanti!
Quick small update for #HadesRevisited. Version 0.18.0 out now, mostly fixing bugs.
