I like using parchment paper on the surface of my workbenches as it’s great for making quick notes/illustrations/tracing etc., and being parchment paper has the added benefit of mostly not letting glue stick to it.

But does anyone know where I can get rolls of parchment paper in Canada that’s 24 inches wide (like the big rolls of Kraft Paper) so I don’t have to use two 12 inches pieces on the workbench?

Specifically rolls not sheets

I bought some clear, UV-hardening nail polish on Aliexpress some time ago, and only started using it today. Already a big fan. It works great as strain relief on soldered connections and for waterproofing PCBs and parts. I'll have to see if it doesn't contain any chemicals that might cause issues with electronics, but at least it doesn't smell like it contains acetone.

Neste encontro iremos conectar e ativar devices na plataforma LoRaWan do LHC e devices no broken RabbitMQ.

Vamos iniciar com uma breve revisão sobre o Gateway LoRa do LHC que roda um OpenWRT customizado por membro do hackerspace, ligando na plataforma ChirpStack.

Agora o LHC tem a plataforma funcionando com ChirpStack e RabbitMQ para iniciar uma nova rodada de experimentos. Ativando novos sensores, criando novas conexões com dispositivos para novas experimentações. Oportunidade para aprender e participar do projeto aberto no Hackerspace.

Essa atividade não tem custo, basta registrar e colar no encontro.
Recomendamos trazer laptop e seus dispositivos para testar e implementar junto com os participantes.

Just made a $100+ order to support that great institution, American Science and Surplus. They're going through some financial struggles, and It's been years since I last ordered., and I couldn't decide what I wanted, so I picked up a couple of their famous surprise boxes. Got the $75 fund-raiser box, and a $12.50 electromechanical box (shipping charges pushed it the rest of the way). Dunno what I'll get, but I predict there will be fun inside!
