A couple of cars preparing for the Lands End classic #trial. On today and tomorrow, starting in #Bridgewater, and ending in #Redruth. Not for the faint-hearted, and full of #weirdcarmastodon fodder. The #mx5 belongs to one of the event organisers, and the hard-as-nails #MG to his dad.

Walking under that thing daily was one of the major influences that sparked my love of brutalism, it’s such a cool building. Fun fact, it was designed to be pretty self-regulating in temperature, but was built 180 degrees the wrong way around for the ventilation to work properly, so was hot in the summer, and bloody freezing in the winter. One of our Design lecturers used it as an example of human error ruining clever plans
