Happy International Cat Day! Hang on, isn’t every day International Cat Day?! It is in our family! Fluffy is a #queen and demands to be treated as such!
So, here is Queen Fluffybum, the first of her name, with a brand new collar especially for the occasion, as she takes her morning repose whilst watching the birds dance just for her on this glorious occasion! We don’t have a throne for her unfortunately, but she has a million beds and a particular box that she’s claimed, so she’ll have to manage with those and the windowsill at my dad’s house!

Today I have another #funkopop #photo for you…my favourite Stranger Things character, Dustin! Now, Dusty has some competition from Steve, Robin, Hopper (and Joyce, that woman is as quick as a whip and always picks up on stuff first! Plus she is a brave as hell) and Eddie (😭 #toosoon), with some love for Eleven (mostly her powers!), but he is my favourite by a decent margin! I love him so much, he is smart, sweet and extremely funny, and he really carries the rest of his friends (they’re all a bit useless except Max and Eleven, let’s be honest here) for all 4 seasons of the show. His relationships with some of the other characters - ok, I mean Steve and Eddie, oh and Suzie 🥰 - are hilarious and oh so sweet, and he acts most of the cast off the screen. Netflix give Gaten Matarazzo a raise already!

Here’s is the Martha Moo child - yes, I call her all sorts of stuff, other than the simple ‘Martha’ that we named her - at about 8/9 months old back on the 23rd July 2011 (now that HAS flown by 😭). Butter wouldn’t melt would it? You know, other than the fact she wasn’t supposed to be stood where she is, of course 😆 I hope she cheers you up as much as she does for us every single day - she hasn’t changed at all!

This is a perfectly serviceable mystery, with a little romance thrown in, which seems to have been developing for quite a few books - and therein lies my main issue with reviewing this one. It’s not the books fault in any way, it’s mine because I came in on the sixth (I think) book of the series.
The story is pretty fast moving, in fact the book is an easy read, and I’m very tempted to read the others in the series too, because I’d like to know how these characters came to be in the positions they’re in.
The only thing I didn’t like is the fact that the story wrapped up within a couple of pages. My #Kindle was showing 78% and that’s where I felt the story was, but then came the epilogue?? Which is where the story is ended, by a news announcement! I felt hugely cheated, but maybe that’s just me.
So, apart from a dodgy dismount, this was not bad at all. It’s a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me I think.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
More cis people should realize that "legal name" and "real name" are two wholly different things, and that someone's real name is something only they themselves should decide.

You’ll have to excuse the dodgy photography because this week’s #pic was taken by me back in 2011, when Martha was still a #pup. Back then she would only go to sleep on me, so I was constantly under #adorable #puppy weight for months - and I loved it! So here she is, throwing some shapes in her sleep, stealing my pretty cushion (I’m pretty sure @geekysnapper flipped her off me onto it so that I had a bit more comfort. Problem was she was also on my legs and feet!), and being the cutest thing ever!

Hello and I hope you’re having a good Monday!
Today is a Martha Moo day! @geekysnapper managed to get some gorgeous shots of her while she was sat on me, waiting for treats! As I can’t walk (certainly not at the moment as I’ve managed to injure my leg even more than it was before somehow, despite being bed bound! It’s impressive really 🙄), she has to come to me for cuddles. So every now and again she dives at me and gives me kisses and snuggles, then demands her treats 😁 she’s very sweet!
