Don’t forget to register for next week’s Forum - it’s free and you can attend in person or online - just make sure you register on Eventbrite eventbrite.com/e/633296315327 And we’ll see you at the Forum!

A flyer for the Forum with a rainbow of coloured threads in the background and the title of the Forum - Pick Up The Thread! - as well as social media linksThe logos of all the participating brands and organisations as well as an outline to the event, “The UN defines sustainability as ‘meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.’ What does this mean in fashion? What are our fashion needs? What are our fashion needs in the future? Sustainability is a crucial and urgent discussion in fashion. It is part of the discussions around fashion’s impact on the environment, labour practices and conditions, textile innovation and waste, retail and resale, advertising and influencers, and more. Bringing diverse expertise from textile innovation through to cooperative retail spaces, this Forum assembles a panel of brands, consultants, legal practitioners and researchers, all working in sustainability in fashion, to discuss these urgent issues.

Don't listen to anyone who says "likes don't matter" on here.

Yes, it's true that there's no algorithm for them to feed.

But letting people you know that you like what they're sharing, that you agree with them, that they're not just shouting into an empty abyss? That matters.

#NyushaTheCat and #ClarusTheDogCow are getting on very well these days 😊🐈 🍏
I got this towel from 1 Infinite Loop, Palo Alto in 1995-ish.
Apple was really on the ropes back then and, I’ve no doubt, my beach towel and novelty keyring purchase from that single, on-campus Apple Store helped them get through those hard times to where they are today.
No?
