I tried spinning it up on a pi3b at home, and a pi4 (running ubuntu server) in the office. The home experiment, well, it was just that, performance was pretty bad even within the home lan. The pi4 at work faired better, but it kept freezing, which is a bit of a bummer when you're trying to sync files and calendar data. Suffice it to say I didn't get around to trying one of the document editing apps, or opening the instance up to remote access.
@sander last time I played around with it, I think I started at the Nextcloud store to see which modules might take my fancy, and went from there.
You know summer is coming when the most colourful of our local lizards can be found sunning itself in the borders.
This male hasn't quite come into full mating colour, as the blue is still quite pale, but he didn't seem too bothered.
A few minutes earlier, my wife filmed him on the grass snatching a wood cricket that had the misfortune to jump into his line of sight. I have seen them eating other, smaller lizards, for whom they will lie in wait under cover of a nearby rock, water butt, or bush. They are lightning fast, and the noisiest of all the lizards we have as they charge through the undergrowth.

More insect hunting today, before the thunderstorms arrived. This violet carpenter bee is one of a seemingly increasing number in the area, or maybe it is down to a very mild winter.

@DavidBridger one might write, quite simply:
C1: "Merci pour ce repas formidable !"
C2: "Vous êtes (un grand) magicien !"
but that might not convey the context and register of the exchange.
@DavidBridger what is the socio-educational status of the French couple, as that would probably impact the choice of vocabulary?
@sheepnik as in, "The Final Frontier" kind, or some other kind of meditational space?

Now that I know they have arrived at their new home, I can share the latest finished chooks. Yes, there's two this time, a pair that I thought of as Rhubarb and Custard, after a comment that someone made on the colour of the yarn.
Of course Myfanwy had to pass on her knowledge and wisdom before their departure. The newest members of the cluckwork are fully prepared to provide plentiful emotional support in their new home.
Came across this architecture in Vienna earlier this week, and found it "interesting" 🤔. Took it at face value, which means it got stored away in my brain's memory with a "weird" tag. I now know that the building is the Technical University library and the sculptor was a "fantastic realist", to which I'll confess my complete lack of knowledge. I'm not entirely certain that knowing more about this art movement would change my memory tag. Anyway, happy #Fensterfreitag

#Moth box part 2 is fewer cute fuzzy faces and more beautiful diversity.
1) White Ermine (top left) - quite common but surprisingly my first ever.
2) Brindled Beauty (top right) - absolute belter
3) Nut-tree Tussock - (bottom left) a frequent visitor & one of my faves
4) Toadflax Brocade (B right)

A mild, still night produced a high number of #moths. First set of highlights included
1) Pale Tussock Moth - huge floofy legs
2) Miller - as if doused in milled flour
3) Iron Prominent - dark and moody
4) Poplar Lutestring - neat and tidy little thing

When I say that the Mexican Orange attracts pollinators, I'm not exaggerating. Among today's motley crew are a swallowtail butterfly, a honey bee, a painted lady butterfly and a capricorn beetle. There were literally too many insects on the bush to count.

Like the gazillion other insects that have decided to come and feast on the nectar of the flowers of our choisyea bush, this green hairstreak also came for the picnic. This is the first time, I think, that I've seen a green butterfly outside of a butterfly farm, so I tried getting a decent enough picture with my phone from a distance without frightening it off or falling off the rockery I was perched on.

I should really pay more attention to the ones around our house and garden 👍
@hastingsmothman beautiful 😍
What to do after a hard day's grind listening to case law reports? Well, we just happened to discover the #Naschmarkt, an outdoor market with indoor and outdoor eating and drinking opportunity, as we were wandering around kind of aimlessly. So we sat down sat down at a local Viennese food and drink bistro and enjoyed both along with the general ambiance. I was surprised at how animated it all was (not really obvious from the photo), but the place filled up between 6 and 8 pm and was bustling. Pretty much all tastes catered for, as far as I could tell.
