Cursor material added and several new things about #UE5 learned βΊοΈπ€
The cursor (white square) movement is kind of dyzzing like this π«¨π€
But it can be interpolated for smoother movement π
Who would have though that making a "procedural" grid material in #UE5 would take two days and countless number of tutorials? π€π€ͺπ«

Fake atmosphere, kind of works, but from what I gathered, it should be possible to use #UE5 SkyAtmosphere on big enough planet - I should try that next π€ͺπ€
Sadly, practically applying #b3d procedural planet tutorial to #UE5 is not as easy, as I hoped it to be π₯²

So, my distraction tool is starting to work!
You can shape a plane by multiple paths which determine the height of the verts nearby.
This saves to a tiny resource file of a handful of paths! The speed of the regeneration of the terrain is just about instant.
I foresee this being able to make terrains of any size really at almost no cost.
