I worked this morning on making the help documentation compatible with gamepad navigation and it seems to be working good enough that I think I should move on.
There's now an automatic navigation link system I can maybe repurpose in other circumstances.

Got back into #gamedev a bit recently and this is one of the most wholesome bugs I've ever encountered. #signeddistancefunction and #raymarching is so exceedingly bodacious, we can have accidental shadows on our debug #octree grid lines.

I play this while waiting for my build to compile during work. I play this after work. I play this while my girlfriend talks to me. I play this when my dog asks to on a walk. I play this in bed on my steamdeck (after Switching compatibility to “Steam Linux Runtime”). I am close to the end and about to start achievement hunting. This game has ruined my life. 10/10

I realised that my zombie rendering code gives me camera rotation for (almost) free. Not sure if that is going to work for the gameplay, but I think it looks awesome.

I am using the font version of @kenney 's gamepad input icons - and since I have outline and shadow support for fonts... I realize I can use it for the gamepad button overlays🥳
It looks now so much more distinct and easier to make out!

I'm currently working on room 23 dialogues but here is a short video of room 20.
There are some baddies around trying to kill Kal.
After some adjustments it worked fine also on the emulated A1200 (with cycle exact flags set).

Testing controller input handling. The right stick can control the target cursor while the left stick controls the focused element that can be triggered via pressing the A button.
One thing left to do: Drag & drop instruction tokens... this'll be interesting 😬

When using the controller, I am rendering the gamepad button mappings on the UI elements they map to. Do you think this is a good or bad approach? I don't have much experience with playing games using a game controller.
