Planned to be home by 4pm. My Jeep decided to fry its starter at my kid’s house, not going anywhere.
AAA roadside took 3+ hours to land a tow to a nearby shop, so we got home at 8pm.

And now we have to make a 35 minute drive back sometime when things are fixed…weee! Best laid plans sometimes just explode.

Spent the day helping my oldest clear stuff out of her new house - purchased from an estate, chock full of the previous owner’s stuff. Quite an adventure!

Lunch wasn’t breakfast nor was it pizza but included Pizza Port Bacon and Eggs porter. A solid coffee-forward porter, perfect to revitalize for more furniture lifting!

Chess hasn’t been updated in almost 200 years and it’s obvious the devs have abandoned it. The greedy creators took your money and laughed all the way to the bank.

I remember back in 705 AD when chess was fun. Then they started adding stupid features no one wanted like “castling” and “en passant” instead of listening to player feedback and fixing game-breaking bugs. I’ve been complaining for years about the collision-detection glitch with the horsey. The ‘clipping-through-pieces’ bug has been abused to death and the lazy devs refuse to fix it.

Don’t support this awful behaviour and boycott this company.

Brand new HP M501dn has TLS 1.0/1.1 enabled, no way to disable.

Update firmware to latest(!) 2021(!) version and now there’s a menu page to turn that off.

Printer came out in 2016, sadly no “use by 2019” date on the package…

A long time friend is publishing her second children’s book based on diverse experiences and her life in the world of Indian Dance.

Her first book, Dancing Deepa, won several awards. Her second seems likely to as well. And a big part of each campaign has been giving books away to libraries to be enjoyed by all kids.
