@FrankGerryts ooof! Painful! Believe me, if I'd known that thing was there, I'd have jumped straight back onto the beach!

@neilparekh Hi Neil. This was taken with a Canon 5d mk4. Tripod holding the camera about a foot above the water. I've put a rubber casing on my camera because I'm always banging it in rocks etc, but it does offer some protection against sea water, but not always!

A sting in the tail!

Standing in the water in shorts and flip flops, I had no clue that just as I took this picture, a jellyfish was wrapping itself around my leg!

From sea waves to waves of pain in a few seconds!

And no, I didn't do, "you know what", to get rid of the pain!💦

Left nasty scars for a few months though.

@nil I try to slightly over expose with long exposures to drag the details out of the shadows but just stopping short of blowing out the highlights. It's all trial and error, and I'd be very lucky to get it right, first time!
