A scenic vista of a huge gorgeous tree growing on the edge of a small lake. The tree reflects into the nearly still water to give the illusion of its roots showing below. Behind the tree we see a few cars driving along enjoying a Sunday drive in the park. This was taken in Golden Gate Park and I just wanted to sit right here and take it all in for hours.

A couple of hosta flower spikes open under a hosta leaf extended above like a a canopy. You can see the contrasting light green veination etched against the blue-green of the leaf. Below, a few open flowers with six white petals face forward, with the white pistil and stamens curving smoothly upwards. The anthers on the stamens are flat ovals, and a few have burst open to scatter bright yellow pollen. Below the floral display, more leaves undulate away.
