Spaces is a convolution-based reverb built with impulse responses from the EchoThief library, developed by the SDSU Sound Lab. Beyond natural, high-quality reverbs, it can transform ambient tails into swirling, textural soundscapes.

I reached out to the San Diego State University Sound Lab about using their Echo Thief impulse responses in the new Spaces reverb module. That conversation has turned into a collaboration.
The core ambiences of the module will be powered by a diverse set of these IRs. Early demos coming in the next couple of days.

Sonic Fauna Alpha v1.1.0 is out! It features the Lorentz Drum Mk I, a 6-voice sampler with 9 kits and a mode that reshapes chopped sounds into time-synced rhythmic textures.
