@xenodium I always love to see this video. Thank you for sharing ♥️
You might already know but JFI: we usually type 'tu' for つ. 'tsu' is accurate expression but majority users don't use it for typing IMO

Interesting. But it seems that my terminal (alacritty) doesn't support DECDHL sequences

It reminds me of the old windows design, like Windows Vista
I don't like the Liquid Glass design... Hope Android doesn't follow this trend 🙏
Finally deleted #Duolingo from my phone.
It was a tough decision because I didn't want to break my Duolingo streak😆
But recently, I started learning English through immersion to improve my skills, and I'm trying to stop translating between English and Japanese. Duolingo wasn't helping with that.

Tried a bunch of alternatives to Chrome Remote Desktop recently, and ended up settling on #RustDesk. The streaming has a bit more latency compared to Chrome, but the stability is excellent. I also love the file transfer feature!
Thanks to everyone who suggested options!
@edox Thank you! So far, I’ve tried using the macOS built-in VNC server (Screen Sharing) with wayvnc, and the experience was terrible. So, I’ve removed VNC from my list of candidates. I’ll give RealVNC a try next
I have been using Chrome Remote Desktop to control my work MacBook from Linux. It worked fine for a long time, but recently I’ve been struggling with an issue where I can’t input any text. I'm not sure about the root cause—maybe a recent Chrome update broke it. I'm so frustrated that I'm now looking for alternatives.
If you have any recommendations, please let me know!
@theory Yeah, looks like there's no built-in way to rename to entityID style. We can do it by doing following though:
#[serde(rename = "entityID")]
entity_id: Value,
@theory JSON is, as the name suggests, a data format that comes from the JavaScript world, so using camelCase feels natural to me since that's the common naming style in JavaScript.
When using it from languages where snake_case is the default, like Rust, I usually do something like this:
#[serde(rename_all = "camelCase")]
struct Response {
snake_case: String,
}
So yeah, that's why picking entityID feels a bit annoying to me
Pre-ordered both. Slightly disappointed Core Time uses Pebble 2 design as well. Would’ve been nice to have both styles like previously- Pebble2 and Pebble Time.

@smlckz Thank you. These links are super impressive to me
I’m not planning to quit #Emacs — I still like it.
But I don’t want to feel too locked in, especially because of org-mode.
So I’ve been trying Obsidian lately to reduce that dependency, but honestly, the writing experience doesn’t feel quite right.
And somehow I ended up looking for something like obsidian.el (yep, it exists 🤣).
Maybe there’s no real way out after all…
Today, my children's school is hosting the school round of #OBOB (Oregon Battle of the Books), and my older son's team has made it to the finals. I can't focus on work at all 🤣
I watched the GQuuuuuuX movie last night. It was awesome!
I don’t want to give any spoilers, but for those who are interested in watching this movie, I highly recommend watching the first Gundam movie beforehand 😎
Watched the #Framework event. The Framework Desktop was totally unexpected!
Is Ryzen AI Max really that good? If it delivers the performance they claim, we might be looking at the era of single-chip gaming PCs.
Also, I’m not a 16-inch user, so it doesn’t really affect me, but the idea of selling keyboard modules per key is super awesome. Could this be the first laptop that lets us fully DIY our keyboard layout?
