I released an update to my libE57Format library—version 3.3—to fix some build warnings & to update the build system (cmake)🏗️.

It is a C++ library which provides read & write support for the ASTM-standard E57 file format on Linux, macOS, and Windows. E57 files store 3D point cloud data, attributes associated with 3D point data (color & intensity), and 2D images (photos).

I don't have the money for a 3d scanner but am sculpting out of clay again. the most recent video I could find on services using images was a year old. are there any apps that can scan 3 to six inch tall figures? my plan is to 3d print figures for a skirmish game I am making.

Yesterday i tried a scan of my old Warhammer Fantasy Battles Steam Tank with the Revopoint MINI.
The result is without Post Processing or Cleanup. Because I'm a lazy person I didn't use any powder or Scanspray for the black and gold surface and only used the dark Model scanmode.

I think the result is pretty nice. although there is a bit overlapping between the Scans and therefore noise.
