Let me take you on a magical ride to the Agfa Optima 200 today. One of my favorites with just one little caveat. But I'll get to that in a bit.
It's a 35mm film viewfinder camera from around 1970. It has a fixed 42mm lens with a minimum aperture of 2.8. And uses standard 35mm film.
It was created to be especially easy to use. The focus ring features pictograms to set distances (With numbers on the opposite side p.4) and a battery-less auto aperture using a Selenium cell that still works even 50 years after. To my knowledge there is only a fixed shutter speed and the ISO range goes only up to 160, it was created at a time when ISO 100 was considered a lot, but this makes unpractical to use with most modern film.
It's one of the first Agfa cameras to feature the red shutter button, that reduces shaking, compared to the leavers of old. And comes with a quick load system for easy and fast film loading p.3.
