Age of Empires definió un género, introdujo a muchos en el mundo de la estrategia en PC y sigue siendo un ejemplo. La simpleza de sus gráficos iniciales, que hoy podríamos ver cómo desfasados, no restaban un ápice a la profundidad de su jugabilidad ni a la adicción que generaba.

Got my #bard up two more levels today in #ffxiv. Learned an additional #AOE spell and got to collect my class specific gear at level 45. Got some mid-battle #screenshots and one from today’s leveling roulette. Taking a short break to focus on a heavy course workload, so level 50 has to wait!

My reading of the supposed email from #Vermont #AoE is the operative phrase is this: ' We do not view this Certification to be announcing any new interpretation of Title VI or requiring us to certify to anything other than the current Title VI law as it stands. Based on our initial legal review, the certification requires us to reaffirm our compliance with existing law that AOE has always followed in our administration of federal funds. '

Yesterday I kept killing it in Age of Empires against Moderate AI. Today I am getting my ass kicked.

Could be because I am trying to play Yamato, but their custom traits should only kick in in Bronze Age.

So the "Return to Rome" expansion does port the original Age of Empire campaigns into AoE2 DE, but does not include the "Rise of Rome" expansion.

That seems like deceptive advertising.

Holy Hades and Persephone! What are these Hoplites in Ages of Empires?!

I thought they were just an alternative to the regular swordsmen. But nope. I had a single hoplite getting into my poorly defended base, and he killed like 8 swordsmen and archers by himself.

Triple upgraded swordman: 140 hp, 2 armor, 13 damage.
Basic Hoplite: 120 hp, 5 armor, 17 damage.
Double upgraded hoplite: 160 hp, 8 armor, 30 damage.

It costs double food and triple gold, but damn!

Two years ago, I was able to beat Hard AI in AoE2.

Now in AoE, I can't beat better than easy.

Uso principalmente (y milito) apps y redes libres #FLOSS y celus usados hace más de 10 años. Antes usaba bastante #Diaspora (en joindiaspora con otro alias y en diaspora.com.ar #DiasporaArgentina hasta que cerró).
