iMac z Apple M1 miał mieć logo Apple na przodzie obudowy
Nowy przeciek ujawnia, że Apple początkowo planowało umieścić logo na charakterystycznym „podbródku” iMaca z procesorem Apple M1, który zadebiutował w 2021 roku.
Informację ujawnił kolekcjoner Apple, Kosutami, publikując zdjęcie prototypu 24-calowego iMaca z widocznym logo.

Obecna wersja iMaca z układem M1 (i kolejnymi aż do M4) ma ultracienką obudowę, białe ramki i występuje w wielu kolorach, ale bez logo z przodu — co zaskoczyło wielu użytkowników. Jak się okazuje, decyzję o jego usunięciu podjęto już na etapie poprzedzającym testy inżynieryjne (EVT), czyli stosunkowo wcześnie w procesie projektowania.
Nowy wygląd iMaców do dziś budzi mieszane opinie – jedni chwalą kolorową estetykę, inni twierdzą, że przypomina tanią podróbkę. Logo mogło dodać całości klasycznego charakteru, znanego z wcześniejszych modeli.
