@bettio live on Global Elixir Meetup in Milan talking about running Elixir and Erlang on microcontrollers with #AtomVM
AtomVM v0.6.6 update has been released! The team fixed a lot of bugs this time, and added a few new features as well.

So happy to see the project that I have been in love with and contributing to for the last several years getting so much attention.
If you work with ESP32 or RPi Pico devices and want a development platform built with fault tolerance and concurrency at it’s heart that allows you to write sophisticated applications with very little code AtomVM might be just what you are looking for.
Oh joy, another flavor of #Erlang pretending to revolutionize the #IoT world by squeezing itself onto a #microcontroller. 🦾🔧 AtomVM: because nothing says "cutting-edge" like running a "limited but functional" subset of decades-old #tech. 🕰️💡

I really enjoyed this episode of Beam Radio on AtomVM.
Even if you don't understand the subject matter, the approachable vibe they give off makes it worth a listen.
Pallas's cat reminds you to free your stuff when you write C code.

I'm glad to announce AtomVM v0.6.5, the best release so far.
#AtomVM v0.6.5 has greater support to Elixir, a number of improvements and bugixes.
Furthermore we updated our tooling such as exatomvm to enable quick and easy developement on #RaspberryPi Pico in addition to #ESP32.
AtomVM v0.6.0 is finally out: https://github.com/atomvm/AtomVM/releases/tag/v0.6.0
For who does't know it: #AtomVM allows to run #erlang, #elixir, #gleam and also #lfe on MCUs such as the #ESP32, the #RaspberryPi Pico (2040) and some #STM32, but it also supports Linux and wasm.
We've just released #AtomVM v0.6.0-alpha.0: https://github.com/atomvm/AtomVM/releases/tag/v0.6.0-alpha.0
v0.6.0 is still alpha but it includes a massive amount of new features and improvements.
This new release includes support for latest #erlang release, #ESP32 esp-idf v5.x, ESP32 #riscv micros, #rp2040 support, WebAssembly, etc...
Thanks to all the contributors for making this possible.
The video of my #AtomVM talk at #FOSDEM (@ #Erlang, #Elixir and Friends devroom) is online now.
