Baltrum Beach in July. I miss the sea.

Auf dem Rückweg vom #Baltrum nochmal für eine Nacht Station in #Emden gemacht - wg Heimweh. Urlaubs-Afterglow in der grauen Bunkerstadt am Meer ❤️ mit Spaziergang auf dem Wall, Family treffen & Kaffee & Bier vorm Café Einstein. Nochmal an Klinkerfassaden satt sehen.

End-of-Holiday-Trip Melancholia is setting in. Only two days left. Staying on the tiny isle of #Baltrum / East Frisia, just off coast from where I grew up (Norden & Krummhörn). There are no cars on Baltrum. Just the sound of the wind, seagulls, and a occasional clattering of a horse-drawn cart. The small beach is far from being packed with people and there is one place to get a cone of ice cream. Whish I could stay for another week 🥲
