I got a proof copy of the new version of "Culture is Bad for You: Inequality in the Cultural and Creative Industries" (now available!) and I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
If you work in culture in ANY way at all in the UK, you have to read this. It's actually a wonderful read because it's been written by researchers who write like humans.

This weekend I re-read Wise Child by Monica Furlong and I'd forgotten just how much I love this novel. Absolute candy for a plant loving witchy person such as myself. #bookreccomendations

I'm in the market for a lot of audiobooks with happy endings (not pregnancies, but any other type), to keep me distracted and comforted while Dad's still in hospital.
I'm especially keen on found family, sci fi comedies, queer romance, or het romance of a reasonably feminist nature.
