Here's where The Donald steps in again and vainly tries to take all the credit for something he really was not involved with. This is Donald J. Trump's entire operating pattern. He takes credit for other's labor, calls it his own, and blames them and everyone else in his path if something goes awry.
Recently #SCOTUS ruled that national security concerns are more important than #Bytedance's First Amendment rights. Though Bytedance which owns TikTok is headquartered in China, please do consider the fact that this Chinese company is nothing more than a corporation. Bytedance is not a person. So, the First Amendment defense wasn't admissible. Also I think if one factors in Section 230, then that too makes First Amendment rights always true from the vantage point of the typical American TikTok user.
Seeing as this is Trump's SCOTUS nobody bats an eye. Six of those justices interpret many legal issues through the lens of heavy sexist/narcissist thinking -- since they actually have morphed into that type of institution for trans people and numerous others who are now very much disadvantaged by SCOTUS's egregious and capricious rulings.
