Armed with nothing more than a blinking cursor, I build an inventory system for my failing software retail shop (just play along with me here). I also explore #cpm add-on options for the #apple2 #c128 #colecoadam and others, and whoops! Did I accidentally become a #dbase programmer in the process?

Come avete passato la domenica? Io ho smontato un drive del C64 perché se collegato al C128 non prendeva il reset e bloccava anche il BASIC e, dopo aver accompagnato 2 condensatori al paradiso dei condensatori, sono riuscito a scrivere un'immagine del sistema CP/M su un dischetto usando dracopy dalla sd2iec. Finalmente il C128 ha mostrato la sua bella scritta BOOTING e dopo un po' è arrivato il prompt del CP/M. Mi sto riprendendo la mia vita da nerd.

I use Electropaint 128 2.0 on to do my C128 80 column screen editing, but it hsa some issues occasionally where the memory gets corrupted. Looked for a newer version and came across this https://github.com/xahmol/VDCScreenEdit ... I haven't tried it out yet but anyone supporting the 128's VDC mode needs a callout #commodore #c128 #retrocomputing #bbs

Copying files to the new hard drive for the BBS. Two CMD HDs are a beautiful thing #bbs #c128 #commodore.

Die Tastatur ist endlich auch gereinigt. Erwähnte ich schon, wie sehr ich das Reinigen von Tastaturen hasse? 😅

War zum Glück schon sehr sauber, wurde aber trotzdem komplett zerlegt und jede Tastenkappe einzeln gereinigt.

Auf dem Badge war noch die Schutzfolie drauf und keinerlei Gilb. Musste nur zwei der Gummifüße ersetzen - einer hat gefehlt, der andere war gerissen.

Denke, eine #C128-Tastatur in besserem Zustand dürfte kaum zu finden sein. Bin sehr zufrieden. 🙂

Um das System komplett zu machen, müsste ich jetzt noch den 1084 machen. 🤔

Hier übrigens das Mainboard in der Komplettansicht und nach der Reinigung. Reinigen hat ziemlich gedauert - da kamen wohl mal irgendwie ein paar Tropfen Wasser rein und auf dem Board ist mittig ein Pilz gewachsen. 😅 (also so ein Geflecht, kein aufrecht stehender...)

Gab's das so ab Werk, oder wurde da mal das ROM gegen ein EPROM getauscht und das ist nur ein einfacher (?) Adapter?

Das Label sieht definitiv nicht nach DIY aus und wirkt auch so, als wäre es Jahrzehnte alt.
